Natasha Patel is a higher education professional who focuses on advising, professional development and diversity, equity, and inclusion. During her time working in higher education, Natasha became deeply passionate about helping people find their paths, move through stuck points, or change careers.
In the past, she worked in academic departments where she collaborated with students, faculty, and staff on various projects that span multiple years and time zones. She also managed operations for the Alexis Miranda Foundation, a Boston-based nonprofit that works to support families of children with autism in Massachusetts and in Ghana. Prior to that, Natasha worked in diversity and inclusion at the BU College of Engineering, where she worked to increase the diversity in undergraduate engineering program applicants through high school curriculum enrichment.
Natasha holds a B.A. in International Relations and a minor in Public Health from Boston University, and she is pursuing coach certification with the Gestalt International Study Center. In her early life, Natasha lived in several countries including the US, Singapore, Malaysia, and Switzerland, which cultivated a passion for multicultural work and working with diverse teams. In her free time, Natasha enjoys dancing, spending time with loved ones, going on outdoor adventures, and learning new forms of artistic expression.
